“To Fly To Insepct”
Volo Pervidi, which in Latin translated “to Fly to Inspect” was founded in 2014 with the idea that the emerging sUAS “drone” market would be, much like GPS, a disruptive technology that would increase the efficiency of Surveying, Engineering, and GIS Data collection. At the time of founding the FAA rules were just coming into existence and soon the section 333 exemption was introduced. Volo Pervidi LLC worked with our congressional delegation to secure an exemption as fast as possible and began offering aerial surveying services as soon as it was received. At that time Derek Bohannan also secured his Private Pilots License to ensure compliance with the section 333 requirements.
Since that time the systems, software, and regulations have changed at breakneck speed. Volo Pervidi LLC prides itself on staying on top of the latest emerging technologies and softwares and staying in compliance with all new local and federal regulations.

Accuracy & Quality Assurance
One of the most common questions we hear when providing drone mapping and drone surveying is “what kind of accuracy can we expect in a final product”? In order to assure our deliverables meet required accuracy we utilize checkpoints randomly distributed throughout a project site to test the point-cloud-derived surface for accuracy. These checks are done in accordance with the ASPRS standard for a 10 cm Vertical Accuracy class, which is appropriate for a 1′ (30 cm) Class 1 contour, per the ASPRS 1990 standard…
